Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies those results. We do not save a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us includes the information you choose to provide, which we use to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary technical logs, which may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps us maintain the service and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information above to run the site, diagnose errors, measure use, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to city, county, state, court, library, and third-party search services. Information submitted on one of those services falls under its privacy policy, not this one. Sponsored search results are also supplied by an outside company with separate data practices.
Who Processes the Data
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising services may receive the automatic information already described. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not distribute visitor data.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated uses. Since there are no visitor accounts, we hold no account password or profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so that we can remove it.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, or opt-out rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, when that law applies. Because we retain little, a request generally concerns our contact mailbox or server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, California agencies, or courts remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those files must go to the relevant custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
